Assistant professor of chemistry, University of Alabama, 1883-1887; Editor, Tuscaloosa Times, 1886; True Democrat, 1888, and State Review, 1895-96; president of the South Alabama Institute, Greenville, 1887-1890; principal of the Military Academy, Huntsville, 1890-1891; superintendent of education, Butler County. Died May 30, 1918.
