- About UA Libraries
Reserve collections in the libraries consist of materials faculty members have designated for specific class assignments. Course reserves may be in print or electronic format.
If an item is available in print, it will have a call number.
Finding a Print Reserve Call Number
Go to the appropriate library's circulation desk to request the course reserve item.

In order to check out print reserve materials, you must show a University of Alabama Action card. Only three reserve items may be checked out at one time. All reserve items must be returned to the appropriate reserve desk. Reserve items may not be renewed.
All articles, tests, and class notes placed by faculty are offered electronically. Viewing E-Reserves may require the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
