Interests/Position	Will Jones, IT Technical Specialist IV Will Jones is a web developer for the University Libraries. He develops many of the graphics and software scripts used within the University Libraries’ various websites – developing custom themes and modules for the Drupal content management system. He develops principally in PHP, MySQL, Java, and Javascript and has devised methods of delivering modern web-mechanics that are accessible to the visually impaired. He is also the developer for the Acumen search interface (a digital collections discovery tool which utilizes Solr – a fast, pure Java indexer built upon the Lucene search engine). His other areas of knowledge include photography, film production and editing, interactive computational art/graphics, and object/facial recognition software.
