  • Room 211 Max:12 Min: 3 (This room is available when CTL tutoring is not scheduled)
  • Room 103 / Copy and Scan Center Max: 4
    (There will be traffic in this room to use the copier/scanner/Value adder machine but good for group study and quiet conversation)
EQUIPMENT/FURNISHINGS IN GROUP STUDY ROOMS
  • White dry erase board: Rocket Room, Cahaba River Room, Great Bear Room, Nightingale Room, Room 103 ( Copy and Scan Center)
  • Electrical outlets: all rooms
  • Wireless network access: all rooms
  • Electronic white board and desktop computer: Great Bear Room
  • Electronic Smart Board: Nightingale Room
ACCESSORIES REQUIRED

For using the Smart Board in the Nightingale Room: laptop computer, three cables, electronic ink pens and special eraser. Check-out at Circulation Desk.

For using the electronic white board in the Great Bear Room: Special pens and eraser. Check-out at Circulation Desk.

For using regular white boards:special dry erase “pens” and eraser. Check-out at Circulation Desk.

OTHER

Individual Study Rooms(walk-in) are on 2nd floor (wireless, desk and chair with electrical outlets)

Silent Study Zone on 2nd floor

Room and Equipment use Policies
 
  1. Group Study Rooms are restricted to currently enrolled students.
  2. The library reserves the right to ask for identification.
  3. To use the Smart Board, Check out accessories at the circulation desk.
  4. Students must observe library regulations and leave room in good order.
  5. Excessive noise is not permitted.
  6. The library will not be responsible for loss of personal items left in the room.
  7. Any group which does not abide by these rules will be asked to leave. Repeat offenders may lose group study room privileges.
  8. Rodgers Library Faculty and Staff will be vigilant in the enforcement of all rules.
