The University Libraries offers thousands of scholarly journals to support research. While many journal articles can now be found via your computer in databases or electronic journals, there are still many journals that are available only in print.

If an article is full-text, the entire text of the article will be available from your computer. However, not all articles are full-text. Some entries may give only the title, issue, and page numbers to assist you in locating the article elsewhere. Additionally, some also have a brief summary of the article.

Articles that are not available electronically can often be found by searching in the Libraries' Catalog for the journal's call number and going to the appropriate campus library to retrieve the journal in print. Remember to search using the journal title.

INTERLIBRARY LOAN

If you are unable to locate the journal article you need at the University Libraries, you may submit an "interlibrary loan" request to get a copy of the article from another library. You do not need to know which other library might have it. We will find it and get a copy for you.
