Printer-friendly versionThe University of Alabama has joined the DMPTool community to provide assistance in constructing data management plans for grant proposals. Arrangements have been made to customize the DMPTool for UA use. This support is provided via a partnership among the Office of Research, Office of Information Technology, and University Libraries.
Steps to Get Started
-
Become aware of the OIT data managment services available on campus and shared server/storage resources and costs. (You may freely cut and paste from these documents into your plan.)
-
Log into DMPTool with your campus myBama login credentials.
-
Select a funding agency, and begin creating your data management plan.
For assistance or questions, contact
Tom Wilson, Associate Dean, Libraries.
