Interests/Position Dr. David Ainsworth, Assistant Professor, English Department.
David earned his PhD in English from the University of 
Wisconsin-Madison, with concentration on literature of the 
seventeenth-century generally and John Milton specifically.  He also has a BS in Mathematics.  His interests in digital humanities originate in his computing hobby (all the way back to 8-bit home computers and Pong machines); he is interested in digital humanities and skeptical about tool-centered approaches over purpose-centered project design.  He plans to team-teach a digital humanities seminar in Spring of 2013.
