Taught at Southwest Texas State University, 1962-1969; Auburn University, 1969-1973; St. Edward’s University, 1975-. President of Auburn Business Consultants, Inc., 1972; president, Hal B. Pickle Research and Consulting Firm, Austin, Tex., 1973-1975. Received the Outstanding Educator of America Award, 1971 and 1972.
