Married– Allie Carroll Murphree, September 28, 1968. Education– Glenwood Public School; University of Alabama. Employed by the W.L. Petrey Wholesale Co., 1924-. His book is a selection of columns published over a twenty year period in the Luverne Journal, Luverne, Ala.  Died July 26, 1986.
