Director, Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham.  Member Board of Directors, University of North Carolina Botanical Gardens, 1988-81; member Board of Directors, Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham; member Garden Writers of America, Birmingham Botanical Society, American Horticultural Society.
