Education– Florence Normal School, 1917-1921; Teachers College of Columbia University, George Peabody College; Iowa State College, B.S., 1928; M.S., 1930. Taught in Montgomery County schools, 1921-1927; itinerant teacher trainer and assistant supervisor of home economics education, Alabama College, 1928-1933; supervisor of home economics education in Montgomery County, 1933-1941; special representative for home economics education, U.S. Office of Education, 1942-43; nutritionist for U.S. Department of Agriculture and school lunch consultant, Alabama State Department of Education, 1943; supervising teacher at Kilby School at Florence State College after 1954. Died February 28, 1991.
